Project Role: Commissioning and Water Treatment Engineers

Project Information

The 10 storey, 23,000m2 office building was a mainstay in the city centre prior to the demolition works (following our works) due to a structural defect. The layout of the building lended itself to multi-tenant occupancy. It was occupied by largely by Network Rail where ‘The Locomotive’ statue built in 1967 has been C Listed to commemorate the link with the railway.

Scope of works

Water Treatment & Commissioning

  • Pipework sectional laboratory analysis.
  • Flushing & water treatment of the LTHW & CHW systems to BG29/13. Combined volume of ~150,000 litres.
  • Rebalance of the LTHW & CHW systems via Commissioning Stations. Combined emitters ~1,200.
  • Replacement of all contaminated flexible connections..
